What is custom photography?

There are so many people who are stuck in a rut when it comes to getting new portraits done.  Weather it's a new family portrait or a milestone for your child, taking the family to the local portrait studio has sadly become the norm.  Ask yourself  "Why are getting these portraits done?"  Wouldn't you like to look back and think it was a great experience and something you will enjoy looking at for years to come?

Custom photography to me (the photographer) is working one on one with the client to make your photo session one of a kind.  Taking in your suggestions and ideas and maybe giving a few of my own.  Not only for the location, but also the style of photos you prefer (color or black & white, posed or candid).  My number one goal is to give you the individual attention you deserve.  You will never feel rushed, as sessions typically last between 1-2 hours and sometimes even longer for newborns.

So, if you are ready to tell those stuffy studios "goodbye", contact me to book a photo session that your family truly deserves!  info@audreygambrel.com

Flower & Patio Show

My mom and I have been going to the Flower & Patio Show for as long as I can remember.  Everything is indoors and it gives you a taste of Spring before it's actually here.  There are amazing gardens, tons of vendors, and yummy food.  But, I'm sad to say that it seems the show gets smaller and ticket prices get higher every year.  I'm not sure how much longer the tradition will last.  :-(

These purple blooms were interesting.  My mom knew what they were,
but I'd never seen anything like it.

Chinese lanterns are so pretty!  I couldn't resist the shot.

Office Buddy

So, I admit it...I'm a computer addict.  I can't help myself.  I'm either editing photos, emailing, or just spending way to much time on the internet, lol.  But, it never fails, when I look down this is what I see staring back at me (I took this sitting in my desk chair, lol)...

Call her what you will...my shadow, office buddy, or pain in my rear! :)  That's Olive!

Neighborhood Fun

I've been dying to get out there and start shooting again, so yesterday we went outside to play and I got some great shots of the neighborhood kids!

Mason grabbed everything he could hold and headed out the door!

We found some other kids from our neighborhood outside, too.

Mason even found his good friend that lives across the street!
And just in case you didn't know, only serious men wear orange!  :-)

Ok...maybe not too serious.

Now....where did all the other kids run off to?
It didn't take me too long to find their secret place!

Welcome

Hi everyone and welcome to my new blog.  My business went through some MAJOR changes over the last few months. I've decided to simplify things a little and change my name to Audrey Gambrel Photography (formerly Zoma Studio).  This is going to be a great year with a fresh start...I'm so excited!  Be on the lookout for some really awesome promotions that will give you no excuse not to get new portraits taken! ;)
